Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Podiumi. Please read them before you subscribe — subscribing means you accept them.
Last updated 16 September 2026
1. Who this agreement is with
Podiumi (“Podiumi”, “we”, “us”) is an independently operated online service available at sydneymwasuku.shop. These terms form a binding agreement between us and you, the person using the service (“you”). All contact with us happens by email at support@sydneymwasuku.shop.
If you are using Podiumi on behalf of an employer or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them.
2. Definitions
- Service — the Podiumi website, the speech writing tool, and the files it produces.
- Input — everything you type into the service: the occasion, names, your relationship, memories, and any other details.
- Output — the drafts, the edited speech, the cue cards and the exported PDF and text files.
- Plan — the Free plan, or one of the paid monthly subscriptions described on the pricing page.
- Billing period — the one-month period that begins on the day your paid plan starts or renews.
3. What the service does
Podiumi assembles a spoken-word speech and a set of printable A6 cue cards from details you supply. It does one job and does not attempt to be a general writing assistant, a chat tool or a document generator.
The text is produced by an automated writing system. Facts, names, dates and events come only from your Input. Where the system does not have enough detail to write a section properly, it inserts a visible prompt in square brackets asking you to supply the missing detail, rather than inventing one. Layout and typesetting of the cue cards are performed by our software, not by an image model.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Podiumi, and at least 18 years old to purchase a paid plan. If you are under 18, you may use the Free plan only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@sydneymwasuku.shop if you believe someone else has gained access to it. One account is for one person; please do not share credentials.
6. Acceptable use
Your use of Podiumi is subject to our acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, and without limiting that policy, you must not use Podiumi to produce:
- identity documents, financial or tax paperwork, certificates, contracts or medical records;
- content that demeans or humiliates a real person, or that makes allegations about them you cannot substantiate;
- statements issued in the name of an organisation or of another person;
- anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
We enforce these limits in the product as well as in this document. Certain inputs are refused outright.
7. Plans, prices and billing
7.1 Prices and currency
All prices are stated in US dollars (USD) and are shown in full on the pricing page and again before you confirm a purchase. The price you see is the price charged; your bank or card issuer may separately apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, which are outside our control. Prices are exclusive of any sales tax or VAT that may be added at checkout where applicable.
7.2 Automatic renewal
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically on the same date each month, and your payment method is charged the then-current price for the next billing period, until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
7.3 Your monthly allowance
Each plan includes a fixed number of finished speeches per billing period, stated on the pricing page. Allowances reset at each renewal and unused speeches do not roll over into the following period. The Free plan includes one speech per month and never requires card details.
7.4 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account area or by emailing support@sydneymwasuku.shop. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep full access to your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to the Free plan.
7.5 Refunds
Refunds are governed by our refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
7.6 Price changes
We may change plan prices. If a price change affects a plan you are subscribed to, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice period, and you are free to cancel before then.
7.7 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and will email you. If payment is still unsuccessful after a reasonable period, the plan is downgraded to Free and paid features stop.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of your Input. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it for the sole purpose of producing your Output and providing support to you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models, our own or anyone else’s, and we do not sell it. See the privacy policy for full detail on handling and retention.
You confirm that you have the right to use the memories and details you enter, and that sharing them in a speech will not breach anyone’s privacy or confidence.
9. Rights in the Output
As between you and us, you own the Output. On a paid plan you may use it for any lawful purpose, including commercially. On the Free plan the Output is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
We make no claim of authorship over your speech. Note that in many jurisdictions material generated by an automated system may attract limited or no copyright protection; we do not warrant that the Output is protectable by copyright.
10. Our rights
The Podiumi name, the site design, the writing engine, the cue card typesetting system and all site content other than your Input remain ours. You may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer or build a competing service from the Service or its output at scale.
11. AI-assisted output — what you must check
The Output is a draft. It is assembled automatically and it can contain mistakes in phrasing, emphasis, pacing or tone. You are responsible for reading it before you use it. In particular, check every name, date, place and relationship, and check that anything you say about a third party is accurate and appropriate to say in public.
Every downloaded file carries a machine-readable AI provenance marker and a visible line stating that it was produced with AI assistance. These markers are present on every plan and are not removable. See how AI is used here.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Podiumi available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature that is material to your plan, you may cancel and we will refund the unused remainder of your current billing period.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to put things right. You may stop using Podiumi and delete your account at any time.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Output will be suitable for a particular occasion or audience, that it will be error-free, or that it will be well received.
Podiumi does not provide legal, medical, financial or professional advice of any kind.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for loss of profit, goodwill, reputation or opportunity, however arising.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your Input, from your use of the Output, or from your breach of these terms — including any claim brought by a person you described in a speech.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will email subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Podiumi after that date means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, you may cancel.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Podiumi is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before starting any formal proceedings, please email us at support@sydneymwasuku.shop — the overwhelming majority of issues are resolved that way within a couple of days.
19. General
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms continue in force.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
- These terms, together with the acceptable use policy, privacy policy, cookie policy, AI disclosure and refunds policy, are the entire agreement between us.
