How AI is used here
Podiumi is an AI-assisted writing tool, and says so on every file it produces. This page explains precisely what that means in practice.

The three things that matter
- • Every fact in your speech came from you. The system contributes structure and phrasing.
- • Every download carries a machine-readable AI marker and a visible line of text.
- • Your content is never used to train AI models.
1. What is automated, and what is not
When you press generate, an automated writing engine arranges your details into two complete drafts. It chooses the order of the sections, the connective phrasing, the register that matches the tone you picked, and the ending appropriate to the occasion.
It does not choose what is true. Names, dates, events, relationships and every concrete detail come verbatim from what you typed. If a memory is too thin to carry a section, the draft prints a bracketed prompt — [ Add one concrete detail here — where you were, what was said ] — instead of inventing something plausible. That is deliberate: a invented detail in a eulogy is not a stylistic problem, it is a serious one.
The cue cards are produced by our own typesetting code, not by an image model. Reading times are calculated arithmetically from word counts and the speaking rate of your chosen tone.
2. Where the language comes from
Podiumi ships with a built-in writing engine that runs without any external model. Where the site operator has connected a language model provider, that provider is used to polish phrasing only, under terms that forbid training on your content. The writing room tells you which of the two produced your draft, on the page, before you generate.
3. The marker in every file
Files you download from Podiumi are marked as AI-assisted in two independent ways, so that the disclosure survives both machine inspection and a printout.
3.1 Machine-readable
Each PDF carries standard document metadata and an embedded XMP packet, including:
dc:description— a plain-language statement that the file was produced with AI assistance;pdf:Keywords— includesAI-generated,AI-assistedandsynthetic-content;xmp:CreatorTool— Podiumi (sydneymwasuku.shop);- a provenance block declaring
aiGenerated: true,humanEdited: true,sourceOfFacts: user-suppliedand the generator’s name and site.
Plain text exports carry the same declaration as a header block at the top of the file.
3.2 Visible
The back of every cue card, and the footer of every page of the speech PDF, reads “AI-assisted draft · sydneymwasuku.shop”. This line is present on every plan. Paid plans remove the promotional Podiumi watermark from the cue cards — they never remove the AI disclosure.
4. Why we do this
Transparency obligations for AI-generated content — including Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, which applies from 2 August 2026 — require that synthetic output be marked in a machine-readable form and that people be told, clearly, when content has been generated or manipulated by an AI system. We implement both, and we do not treat the disclosure as a paid feature.
There is also a simpler reason. A speech carries weight because the room believes you meant it. Being straightforward that a tool helped you assemble it is the honest position, and it costs you nothing — nobody in the room reads the metadata of your cue cards.
5. What you are responsible for
- Reading the draft in full before you deliver it.
- Checking every name, date, place and relationship.
- Deciding whether what you say about a third party is fair and appropriate in public.
- Disclosing AI assistance yourself where the context requires it — for instance, where a speech is published as text intended to inform the public on a matter of public interest.
6. Known limitations
- The engine writes connective phrasing, so a sentence can sound more polished than you actually talk. Edit it. The section editor exists for exactly this.
- Reading-time estimates assume a steady speaking rate. Nerves make most people faster; grief makes most people slower.
- Tone presets shape sentence length and rhythm, not humour itself. A joke works because of the detail you supplied, not because the preset is called “lightly funny”.
- Automated safety checks catch clear cases. They are not a substitute for your own judgement about what to say out loud.
7. Training
Your inputs and outputs are not used to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, by us or by any provider we work with. This is set out in the privacy policy and is contractual with our providers, not merely a preference.
8. Questions
If you need something specific for your own compliance — the exact metadata fields, or a written statement about how a particular file was produced — email support@sydneymwasuku.shop and we will send it.
