Podiumi asks for unusually personal material — the things you remember about someone you care about. This page sets out exactly what happens to it.

In one box
- • Your speeches are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else’s.
- • We never sell personal data, and we run no advertising trackers.
- • Drafts stay in your browser until you save them to an account.
- • You can have everything deleted by sending one email.
1. Who is responsible
Podiumi, operating the website at sydneymwasuku.shop, is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email support@sydneymwasuku.shop.
2. What we collect
2.1 What you type into the tool
The occasion, the names you enter, your relationship to the person, the memories you write, your chosen tone and target length, and any edits you make to the drafts. This is the material the speech is built from. It can include information about other people, and in the case of a eulogy it can be sensitive.
2.2 Account information
If you create an account: your email address, an authentication credential, your plan and its status, and the dates of your billing periods.
2.3 Payment information
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a payment reference, the amount, the currency, the outcome, the card brand and its last four digits — enough to answer a billing question and to issue a refund.
2.4 Technical information
Standard server logs: IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp and referrer. These exist to keep the service running and secure, and to detect abuse.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share data with ad networks. See the cookie policy.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Produce your speech and cue cards | What you type into the tool | Performance of a contract |
| Provide and secure your account | Account information, technical logs | Performance of a contract; legitimate interests |
| Take payment, renew and refund | Payment references, plan status | Performance of a contract; legal obligation |
| Answer support email | Your email and what you tell us | Legitimate interests |
| Keep records for tax and accounting | Transaction records | Legal obligation |
| Prevent abuse and enforce our policies | Technical logs; inputs flagged by our safety checks | Legitimate interests |
4. What we do not do with it
- No model training. Your inputs and outputs are not used to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models by us, and we do not permit any provider we work with to use them for that purpose.
- No selling or renting. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
- No reading for interest. We do not browse user speeches. Staff access happens only where you ask for support on a specific speech, or where we are legally required to investigate.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers, each under a contract that limits them to acting on our instructions:
- a cloud hosting and content delivery provider, to run the website;
- a database and authentication provider, to store accounts and saved speeches;
- a payment processor, to take and refund payments;
- an email provider, to send service and support email;
- where the site operator has connected one, a model provider used to polish the language of a draft. Any such provider is engaged on terms that prohibit training on your content.
We will also disclose data where we are legally required to, and we will tell you unless prohibited.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep it
- Unsaved drafts — stored in your own browser only, and cleared when you clear your browser storage.
- Saved speeches — until you delete them, or 12 months after your last sign-in, whichever comes first.
- Account records — for as long as the account exists, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Transaction records — for up to seven years, where tax and accounting law requires it.
- Server logs — up to 90 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or UK, these rights come from the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights of access, deletion, correction and portability under the CCPA/CPRA, and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising them — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
To exercise any right, email support@sydneymwasuku.shop. We respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm control of the account email before acting on a request. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Deleting your content
You can delete an individual speech at any time from your account. To delete the whole account, email us and we will erase it and its contents within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to keep.
10. Information about other people
Speeches are about other people by definition. Please share only what you would be comfortable saying aloud in the room, and do not enter someone else’s sensitive information — health details, financial affairs, or anything told to you in confidence — unless you have their agreement. If someone believes a speech held here contains their personal data and wants it removed, they can write to support@sydneymwasuku.shop.
11. Children
Podiumi is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
12. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls and encryption at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will email account holders about material changes before they take effect.
